Orientation Day

The second training day was less fun...
1)      The lockers. I hate them! How comes that everything is so electronic but the lockers??? Switch that, turn that, repeat twice, now three times to the other side... OMG.
2)       The uniform. The pants are too short and too big, the shirts‘ sleeves are too short, the shirts are too big, the tie just looks stupid and the apron... No comments. Oh, how could I forget the overoveroversized cardigan and a jacket.
3)      The work itsel. How comes that you are supposed to work at a restaurant but you work with popcorns,  ice cream, les crepes, candies, etc. ??? Outside and alone! Of course, everything‘s in French and you are all the time in direct contact with the customers.

However, I still smile and feel really excited about all this experience J
1)      The staff is amazing! So positive, so friendly and so helpful... I don‘t think I‘ll ever meet such nice people as I meet here. Disney atmosphere has something to do with it...
2)      Being a tiny piece of this huge Disney mechanism feels really awesome. You are the part of the magic kingdom, the phantasy land, the show. You are on stage! Spreading happiness all around you.
3)      The catering. Gosh, I could stay here forever just because of the food... I LOVE food and here I get everything I want for such ridiculous Cast Members prices. The chocolate dessert I had today was soooooo mmmm...
